Suddenly Sunday - End of Summer Beach Party
Happy Sunday, everyone! Hope all is well with you and you have been enjoying reading and collecting some great new books!
With all the hoopla related to getting into the back-to-school mode, I haven't accomplished much leisure reading. Hopefully, after I'm finished with shopping for uniforms and school supplies, filling out tons of teacher forms, and have all the Parent Back to School Nights behind me, I'll be able to give my attention back to some of those new books that are calling to me. Right now, I've just enjoyed these last few weeks of summertime with my kids and loved having them hanging around the house. They're growing up way too quickly for me.
In book news, I'm excited to receive a copy of Helen Hollick's Sea Witch which I won from Laura's Reviews. Thanks so much to both the author and Laura as it looks absolutely wonderful!
There will be a fun event tonight, End of Summer Beach Blowout, at Writerspace with many big-name authors (Deanna Raybourn, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jayne Ann Krentz, Sabrina Jeffries, Julie James, just to name a few) giving away great prizes such as advance-copy books, signed books, and lots of other goodies. Sounds like a fun opportunity to attend a virtual beach party and maybe win some prizes!
Happy reading and have a wonderful week!
Suddenly Sunday is a weekly event hosted by Svea at The Muse in the Fog Book Review.

Wow, I can't believe it's back to school season already! Our school goes pretty much all year round as it's a preschool with a summer camp. There is SOME difference as we transition back, though.
Enjoy a little bit of liesure reading/time as you can!
I can't believe it's almost back to school time either! But most of my daughter's school stuff has been purchased, so she's all ready to go :-)
Thanks for the link to the End of Summer Party. I just might have to check that out!
Have a great week.
Hi, Pam -- Yep, Once August hits, my kids are pretty much back in school with orientations, book day, and their club workshops and such....they are both now in high school! Yikes! How did that happen?! They don't attend year-round schools, but it seems like they do as their schools requires them to do service/and academic activities. Keeps them (and me) busy!
Melissa -- I'm going to pop in tonight and check it out. You never know what you might win!
Bless your heart for taking the time out of your 'back to school' hurry and scurry schedule to post this!! You are amazing!
