About the Book:
After Elizabeth Bennet refuses Mr. Darcy's offer of marriage, it takes a heavy toll on him. He withdraws to London and disappears near the docks, away from family, friends, and acquaintances. I was very impressed with the author's previous two Austenesque books, Darcy's Voyage and Only Mr. Darcy Will Do, and I'm looking forward to another P&P adventure and variation.

I hadn't heard of these books, Joanne. Though I know there have been oodles of Jane Austen spin-offs. (She's probably turning in her grave as we speak. Though I'm sure she'd find the whole idolatry thing amusing.)
I'll add this title to my list since it sounds like a fun summer-time read. Mr. Darcy as a pirate. HA! How come she doesn't recognize him? What is he covered with hair? Or maybe an eye patch?
Lately I've been re-reading some Mary Balogh Regency books, not to mention Carla Kelly. Luckily I hung on to my old Signet romances. By the way, I'm having a Georgette Heyer Blogathon coming up in August and I fully expect you to join in, m'dear. :)
